ACCT3002: Accounting for Corporate Entities (Solutions) [UoN]

Company financial statements are a crucial source of information used by stakeholders when assessing companies. Company accounting and reporting focuses on the mechanisms that underpin the preparation of financial records for corporations including consolidated accounts. This course introduces the regulatory environments, disclosure requirements and concepts behind corporate reporting that are crucial to financial accounting practices. The analysis, evaluation and communication of both financial and non-financial information is also emphasised as an essential professional attribute in the accounting profession.
